Love the middle school years! Your specific duties and responsibilities will include but not be limited to: Planning for and teaching multiple sections / classes of math each day using a rigorous, standards-aligned curriculum For 5th/6th and 7th/8th ELA and math teachers: work closely with PVD Prep’s MLL Director to integrate specific language development strategies into classroom teaching Demonstrating exceptionally strong instructional and classroom management skills, Developing strong, productive relationships with students, parents and families Participating in professional development opportunities and attending all staff, team, and community meetings Creating a positive, achievement-oriented classroom culture that allows all students to achieve high academic standards
