This is a remote-based, outside sales “hunter” role focused on developing new business across Texas and the Gulf Coast region for SkyBitz Tank Monitoring.</span></p> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">The ideal candidate will live in the <strong>Houston, Texas</strong> or <strong>Southern California</strong> area and has a proven track record of building a territory from the ground up, cultivating C-suite and operational relationships, and closing complex technology deals in industrial or energy markets. Experience with upstream oil & gas, or petroleum/chemical distribution is highly preferred.</span></p> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Key Responsibilities</span></p> <ul> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Prospect, qualify, and close new business opportunities in assigned region with a focus on expanding SkyBitz’s footprint in upstream and midstream oil & gas and downstream distribution sectors.</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Develop a territory sales plan targeting distributors, producers, and service companies using a mix of outbound calling, networking, and onsite visits.</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Lead the full sales cycle — from initial outreach and discovery to proposal development, negotiation, and contract execution.</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Collaborate with marketing and inside sales teams to generate pipeline through digital campaigns, events, and lead generation programs.</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Maintain accurate forecasts, account plans, and activity reports in Salesforce CRM.</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Serve as a trusted advisor to customers, demonstrating how SkyBitz’s IoT platform delivers measurable ROI through improved asset visibility, delivery optimization, and reduced operational costs.</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Represent SkyBitz at industry trade shows, regional conferences, and customer events.</span></li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Qualifications</span></p> <ul> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Bachelor’s degree in Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">5+ years of outside sales experience in B2B technology, telematics, industrial IoT, or equipment monitoring.</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Demonstrated success in hunter-style sales roles — consistently exceeding quotas and building new territories.</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Knowledge of oil & gas operations, fluid management, or related industrial supply chains.</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Strong presentation, negotiation, and closing skills with executive-level buyers.</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Proficiency in Salesforce CRM and Microsoft Office Suite.</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Willingness to travel up to 50% throughout the assigned territory.</span></li> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt"><span style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Candidates must be based in the Houston Texas metro or Southern California area<strong> </strong>.</span></li> </ul> </span>
