The Insurance Shop is searching for an Accounting Assistant to work at our insurance agency in Columbia, Missouri. Familiarity with QuickBooks and/or accounting is preferred but it is not a requirement for the job.

Responsibilities include (assistance with):

  • Commission data entry
  • Customer data entry
  • Commission remit preparation
Attention to detail is critical because this individual helps ensure that all policy details are accurate and complete. This position can be structured as a part-time or full-time job and workdays can be flexible. Part-time candidates would need to commit to a minimum of 24 hours (3 days per week).

Qualifications and Characteristics Needed:

  • Typing skills (at least 40wpm)
  • Self-motivated with good time management skills
  • Positive and helpful attitude
  • Ability to work with others and be a part of a team
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
