<strong>Job Description<br><br></strong><strong>Location:</strong> New York, NY (On-site, Remote)<br><br><strong>Job Title:</strong> AI Policy Specialist, Content S&P<br><br><strong>About The Role<br><br></strong>Support the development and implementation of thoughtful generative AI guidelines for content and product experiences at Pinterest. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to uphold content quality, reduce risk, and support a safe, inspiring experience for millions of users.<br><br><strong>Key Responsibilities<br><br></strong><ul><li>Define, draft, align, and implement guidelines for generative AI content and AI-driven products.</li><li>Support review of generative AI use cases, document policy decisions, and maintain guidance for internal partners.</li><li>Track policy questions, escalations, and trends to improve guidance and workflows.</li><li>Work with product and engineering teams to translate capabilities and risks into scalable workflows.</li><li>Assess generative AI models for content quality and appropriateness.</li><li>Measure and communicate progress against Editorial Standards & Practices to executive audiences.</li><li>Use AI to synthesize information from policy inputs, product updates, and enforcement trends.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Qualifications<br><br></strong><ul><li>3+ years of experience in content policy, content standards, trust and safety, or related field.</li><li>Bachelor’s degree in Public Policy, Marketing, or equivalent experience.</li><li>Ability to develop and implement generative AI content guidelines with senior guidance.</li><li>Familiarity with industry trends and legal developments related to generative AI and LLMs.</li><li>Understanding of how generative AI guidelines support a safe and innovative platform.</li><li>Skill in evaluating AI-assisted work for accuracy and bias.</li><li>Strong communication and cross-functional relationship-building skills.</li><li>High integrity in using AI, including protecting sensitive information and accountability.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Compensation<br><br></strong>Base salary range: $98,561 - $202,918 USD. Eligible for equity.
