<h2>About the role</h2> We are seeking a resourceful and curious AI Solutions Specialist to join our OMX AI Operations team. In this role, you will design and build AI-powered tools and workflows that help our operations teams work more efficiently and make more informed decisions. You will be the hands-on builder who takes business problems and turns them into working solutions — connecting large language models (LLMs) to real processes. The base salary offered for this role and level of experience will begin at $83,000 and up to $115,000. Full-time employees are also eligible for a bonus, competitive equity package, and benefits. The actual base salary offered may be higher, depending on your location, skills, qualifications, and experience. <h2>In this role, you can expect to</h2> <ul> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Design, build, and maintain AI-powered workflows and internal tools that support OMX teams across quality, operations, and member experience.</li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Develop and manage LLM-based solutions — including automated evaluations and text generation workflows — tailored to specific operational needs.</li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Collaborate with operations leads, QA analysts, and program managers to understand business problems and translate them into working AI solutions.</li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Write and maintain lightweight Python scripts to extend automation capabilities beyond what current platforms support out of the box.</li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Prompt engineer and iterate on LLM inputs to improve accuracy, consistency, and output quality across use cases.</li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Monitor the performance of deployed tools and workflows, identifying opportunities to improve reliability and relevance over time.</li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Utilize SQL to query and validate data supporting AI workflows and evaluations.</li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Create and maintain clear documentation so that tools and workflows are understandable and usable by the wider team.</li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Stay current with developments in LLM capabilities, AI tooling, and low-code automation platforms.</li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Help build a culture of AI fluency within OMX by sharing knowledge and demonstrating what's possible.</li> </ul> <h2>To thrive in this role, you have</h2> <ul> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Hands-on experience working with large language models — building prompts, evaluating outputs, and iterating toward reliable results.</li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Proficiency in Python.</li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Solid understanding of prompt engineering principles and how model behavior changes based on instruction design.</li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Proficiency in SQL for data querying and analysis.</li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Familiarity with REST APIs and webhooks for connecting tools and systems.</li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Ability to work with structured and unstructured data and translate it into inputs that AI models can act on effectively.</li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Strong problem-solving instincts and a practical, get-it-done approach to building solutions.</li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Excellent communication skills — able to make complex ideas clear and engaging, even for those without a technical interest.</li> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Comfort operating with a high degree of autonomy and shifting priorities in a fast-moving environment.</li> </ul> #LI-EI1 #LI-Remote<div class="content-conclusion"><h2>A little about us</h2> At Chime, we believe that everyone can achieve financial progress.
