Overview

As a Park Ranger, you will play a vital role in preserving and protecting natural resources while ensuring the safety and enjoyment of park visitors. This position requires a passion for the outdoors, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. You will engage with the public, enforce park regulations, and contribute to the maintenance and improvement of park landscapes.

Duties

  • Provide excellent customer service to our guests
  • Enforce rules and regulations
  • Managing daily operations with little or no supervision
  • Mowing, weed eating, maintenance repairs, trash pickup, other tasks as needed
  • Routine safety inspections of assigned areas
  • Cleaning/Washing Vehicles
  • On call duty shifts
  • Outside for long periods of times, ability to cope with bugs and hot weather conditions
  • Communicates effectively through written and oral communication
NON-PERMANENT position –until you decide to leave or are terminated for viable reason. No paid leave, but flexible on requested time-off. Insurance and retirement are optional. Pay starts at $11/hr. 40hrs per week.

Pay on the 1st and 16th – one month before first check

Rotating shifts –

  • A- Shift: 6-2
  • B- Shift: 2-10 or 11-7
  • B2 (seasonal): 1–9
  • C -Shift: 9-5
Requirements:
  • On site housing (Barracks style)
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Uniform compliance
  • Weekends
  • Holidays
  • Standing in all types of weather conditions
  • Lifting 50Ibs
  • Teamwork
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $11.00 - $15.00 per hour
