<h3>About the Role</h3><p style="min-height:1.5em">As one of the first backend engineers, you will own core services powering AI voice and browser agents deployed in live production environments. You will build reliable, low-latency systems that orchestrate agent workflows, integrate with healthcare systems and third-party portals, and maintain data security standards. You will work directly with founders and ship into customer environments regularly.</p><h3>What You'll Do</h3><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Design and build core backend services and APIs that orchestrate AI voice and browser agents</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Build integrations with EHRs, scheduling systems, and insurance/payer portals</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Own reliability, observability, and performance of agent workflows in production</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Partner directly with leadership on architecture, technical tradeoffs, and product direction</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Help shape engineering culture, hiring, and operational practices as the team scales</p></li></ul><h3>What We're Looking For</h3><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>Required:</strong> 3+ years building production backend systems, ideally in Python or TypeScript/Node</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Comfort with distributed systems, queues, and event-driven architectures</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS or GCP), relational databases, and modern observability tooling</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">Strong product instinct and ownership mindset—you can scope, ship, and iterate independently</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>Nice to have:</strong> Experience with LLM agents, voice systems (telephony, ASR/TTS), browser automation, or regulated healthcare environments</p></li></ul><h3>Compensation & Details</h3><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>Salary:</strong> $70,000–$100,000 USD, depending on experience</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>Equity:</strong> Founding-team equity included</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>Work Arrangement:</strong> Remote, LATAM-based (with US Pacific timezone overlap required)</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>Type:</strong> Full-time</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>Access:</strong> Direct collaboration with founders and real customers from day one</p></li></ul>
