Imagin BPM Consulting is seeking an experienced Business Process Analyst for a 6-month contract engagement beginning July 2026. This is a remote, part-time role requiring approximately 20-25 hours per week.

About the Engagement You will serve as the lead process analyst on a business process mapping initiative for a large university foundation, working directly with stakeholders across constituent management, gift lifecycle, and financial reconciliation workflows.

What You'll Do

  • Facilitate live process modeling sessions via Microsoft Teams with groups of 6-8 subject matter experts
  • Build swimlane process models in real time on screen during sessions using Microsoft Visio
  • Ask targeted questions to draw out current-state workflows, identify process variations, and surface inefficiencies and improvement opportunities
  • Apply BPMN 2.0 standards to all process models post-session — ensuring clean task attribution, proper gateway labeling, and professional presentation quality
  • Work alongside a junior analyst who will support sessions with note-taking and follow-up questions
  • Deliver polished, presentation-ready models and workflow narratives ready for stakeholder review
What We're Looking For
  • 5+ years of business process mapping or business analysis experience
  • Demonstrated ability to facilitate working sessions with multiple stakeholders
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Visio
  • Working knowledge of BPMN 2.0 notation
  • Strong communicator — comfortable commanding a virtual room
  • Self-directed and proactive — able to keep work moving without close supervision
  • Experience in financial services, healthcare, higher education, or nonprofit environments is a plus
Engagement Details
  • Remote — all sessions via Microsoft Teams
  • Part-time contract — approximately 20 hours per week
  • 6-month term — July through December 2026
