Catholic High School English Teacher

Job Overview:

We are seeking a High School English Teacher for a growing Catholic school in Fredericksburg, VA. This is a full time teaching position, with small class sizes and flexibly to instruct English electives.

College degree and some experience teaching high school is preferred. Must be qualified or working towards licensure to teach.

Qualifications:

-Bachelor’s Degree or higher

-Strong interest or experience with teaching children

-Teaching license or willingness to work towards it

Duties:

- Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans in Religion based on the curriculum
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning
- Provide individualized attention to students to support their academic growth

Skills:

- Excellent communication skills

-Ability to adapt lessons geared towards small class sizes

-Ability to be flexible

-Open to instructing electives provided the curriculum and materials

-Comfortable working in a Christ-centered atmosphere

Pay: $38,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
