Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) – Rehab / Long-Term Care (Travel)

Location: Rochester, NY 14513

Employment Type: Travel Contract (13 Weeks)

Compensation: Travel pay package available(based on experience and qualifications)

Schedule:

• Shift: Day Shift
• Hours: 40 hours/week
• Timing: 06:00 AM – 02:00 PM (5x8-hour shifts)
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend

Important Requirement: Must reside 75+ miles from the facility (travel candidates only)

Job Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for a travel assignment in a Rehabilitation / Long-Term Care (LTC) setting. The CNA will provide direct patient care, assist with daily living activities, and support the clinical team in delivering safe and high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, feeding, grooming, and dressing
• Support patient mobility, transfers, and ambulation (including use of Hoyer lifts and transfer devices)
• Monitor and record vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, temperature, respirations, oxygen saturation)
• Provide incontinence care and assist with catheter care
• Turn and reposition patients to prevent pressure injuries
• Ensure patient comfort, dignity, and safety at all times
• Document intake/output, weights, and report any changes in patient condition
• Follow infection control protocols and proper use of PPE
• Assist with specimen collection and routine patient care tasks
• Collaborate with nursing staff and healthcare team members

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of CNA experience
• Experience in Rehabilitation or Long-Term Care (LTC) preferred
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Must meet travel eligibility criteria (75+ miles from facility)
