Job Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for a travel assignment in a Rehabilitation / Long-Term Care (LTC) setting. The CNA will provide direct patient care, assist with daily living activities, and support the clinical team in delivering safe and high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, feeding, grooming, and dressing
Support patient mobility, transfers, and ambulation (including use of Hoyer lifts and transfer devices)
Monitor and record vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, temperature, respirations, oxygen saturation)
Provide incontinence care and assist with catheter care
Turn and reposition patients to prevent pressure injuries
Ensure patient comfort, dignity, and safety at all times
Document intake/output, weights, and report any changes in patient condition
Follow infection control protocols and proper use of PPE
Assist with specimen collection and routine patient care tasks
Collaborate with nursing staff and healthcare team members
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 1 year of CNA experience
Experience in Rehabilitation or Long-Term Care (LTC) preferred
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment
Must meet travel eligibility criteria (75+ miles from facility)
