As a General Construction Laborer at 3D Rebar and Construction, you will play a crucial role in supporting the successful completion of bridge and roadway construction projects. You will work closely with experienced rodbusters and other team members to ensure the safe and efficient execution of various tasks related to steel reinforcement and concrete structures.
Responsibilities:
Assist rodbusters with the placement, tying, and installation of rebar for concrete reinforcement.
Perform manual labor tasks such as lifting, carrying, and positioning materials and equipment.
Prepare and clean construction sites by removing debris and hazardous materials.
Operate basic hand and power tools as needed for construction activities.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Load and unload construction materials and equipment.
Assist in the assembly and dismantling of scaffolding and other temporary structures.
Follow instructions from supervisors and rodbusters to complete assigned tasks efficiently.
Participate in safety meetings and adhere to company safety protocols.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in construction labor, preferably in bridge and roadway construction, is a plus.
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and work in various weather conditions.
Basic understanding of construction tools and equipment.
Strong work ethic and reliability.
Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions.
Good communication skills.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).
Ability to stand, bend, and kneel for extended periods.
Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces.
