What You’ll Be Doing
In this role, you’ll help shape and strengthen OceanAir’s security posture by:
Supporting and continuously improving our Information Security Program (ISP)
Developing and maintaining cybersecurity policies, standards, and procedures
Identifying vulnerabilities across systems, networks, and applications and recommending solutions
Monitoring and responding to security incidents while helping minimize risk and impact
Conducting security assessments, audits, and penetration testing
Partnering with IT, compliance, and business teams to embed security into everyday operations
Supporting business continuity and resilience planning
Staying current on evolving cyber threats, tools, and regulatory requirements
Promoting security awareness through training and education initiatives
Preparing reports and insights for leadership and key stakeholders
Managing assigned projects, tickets, and priorities independently
Requirements
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who brings both technical expertise and a collaborative mindset. This role is in-person at our Oxnard Corporate office.
You’ll be successful if you have:
A bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field
5–8 years of technology experience, including at least 3 years in cybersecurity
Working knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, or CIS Controls
Experience with security tools like SIEM/EDR platforms, MS Defender, MS Entra, Intune, Darktrace, ManageEngine, or similar technologies
Experience with incident response, vulnerability management, and threat analysis
Strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly
The ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams
Bonus points if you have:
CISSP, CISM, CISA, or similar certifications
Experience in a regulated industry such as financial services or credit unions
