  • Demonstrated experience teaching daily living skills and encouraging community integration.
  • Residence within 15-20 miles of Frederick County, MD.

Responsibilities

  • Provide hands-on support to individuals in their homes and local communities.
  • Teach and assist with daily living activities, fostering independence and growth.
  • Encourage community involvement, social participation, and personal choice.
  • Support individuals in achieving goals outlined in their Person-Centered Plans.
  • Maintain safety and a respectful, empowering environment.
  • Build and maintain professional, respectful relationships with clients and families.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development.

Preferred Skills

  • Prior experience working with Maryland DDA clients.
  • Familiarity with Person-Centered Planning and implementing individual outcomes.

Schedule

  • Flexible hours based on client needs (daytime, afternoons, occasional weekends/overnights).
