Dock and Door Service Technician - Field Mechanic

We are looking for a Dock and Door Service Technician - Field Mechanic - to join our talented team in Pittston, PA. The successful candidate will be able to install dock equipment, including but not limited to shelters, seals, lights, bollards, vehicle restraints, levelers, high-speed doors, and overhead doors, as well as planned maintenance on the customer's dock and door equipment.

Job Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, service, repair, and install dock and door equipment
• Perform all assigned planned maintenance on customer dock and door equipment
• Welding
• Maintain a service van and its inventory
• Process paperwork upon completion of each job

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Technical school graduate preferred
• Mechanical and electrical aptitude
• Welding experience
• Good written and verbal communication skills and customer care skills
• Valid driver's license, good driving record, and ability to safely operate lift trucks
