Join our dynamic team as an Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Manager, where you'll lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of our safety and environmental programs. Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive EHS policies aligned with OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory standards.
Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify hazards and implement corrective actions.
Lead incident investigations using root cause analysis techniques to determine underlying issues and prevent recurrence.
Coordinate and deliver training programs on topics such as first aid, CPR, OSHA compliance, occupational health, and workers' compensation law.
Maintain accurate report writing for incidents, inspections, audits, and compliance documentation to ensure transparency and regulatory adherence.
Manage workers' compensation claims processes in collaboration with HR and legal teams to ensure timely resolution and compliance.
Promote a culture of safety through employee engagement initiatives, safety meetings, and continuous improvement projects.
Qualifications
Proven experience in manufacturing environments with a strong understanding of OSHA regulations and EPA standards.
Certified in first aid and CPR with practical knowledge of occupational health principles.
Familiarity with workers' compensation law procedures and report writing skills for incident documentation.
Demonstrated ability to conduct root cause analysis and develop effective corrective action plans.
Strong training & development skills to educate employees on safety protocols and best practices.
Excellent communication skills to collaborate across departments and foster a safety-conscious culture.
