Job Overview:

We are seeking a creative and passionate Floral Designer to join our Prentice location (Northwestern hospital). The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for aesthetics, an understanding of floral arrangements and provide good customer service. As a Floral Designer/Customer Service you will play a vital role in creating beautiful floral arrangements to uplift customers.

Job Responsibilities

Duties

  • Design and create floral arrangements with high quality for various occasions
  • Maintain inventory of flowers and supplies, ensuring freshness and quality.
  • Follow established pricing and procedures with our operation
  • Manage and process cut flowers/plants for your orders
  • Assist customers with inquiries and orders over the phone and in person
  • Wrap arrangements and ensure presentation meets company standards
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace
  • Other duties as required to assist with our shop operations
Requirements:
  • At least 1 year of floral design experience
  • Customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
  • Basic PC and POS skills
  • Saturday availability
  • Must work additional hours during busy floral seasons and holiday times. (Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, Christmas, etc...)
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
