We are looking for a friendly and energetic Food Runner/Server's Assistant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you'll be the vital link between the kitchen and our guests, ensuring that orders are delivered promptly and accurately while providing excellent customer service. If you enjoy working in a lively environment and have a passion for hospitality, this position is perfect for you! This is a Tipped Position

Responsibilities

• Deliver food orders from the kitchen to guests efficiently, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met.
• Assist servers with clearing tables, bussing dishes, and resetting dining areas to maintain a clean and inviting space.
• Support food preparation tasks as needed, including plating and garnishing dishes under supervision.
• Handle food safely by following proper handling procedures and maintaining cleanliness in all service areas.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and front-of-house team to coordinate timely service.
• Operate POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing when required.
• Help set up banquet events or special functions, ensuring smooth food service flow.

Experience

• Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not essential; enthusiasm to learn is key!
• Familiarity with restaurant operations, including serving, bussing, or food handling, is a plus.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques.
• Experience with POS systems such as Aloha or Micros is advantageous.
• Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor to engage with guests effectively.
