Front Desk Agent

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and personable Front Desk Agent to join our team in providing exceptional guest experiences at our hotel. The position is stricktly for the evening shift from 330pm-1130pm. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for guests, responsible for managing front desk operations, ensuring guest satisfaction, and maintaining a welcoming environment. This role requires strong customer service skills and the ability to handle various tasks efficiently.

Duties

• Greet and welcome guests upon arrival with a friendly demeanor.
• Manage check-in and check-out processes efficiently, ensuring accuracy in guest information.
• Handle reservations, cancellations, and modifications through multi-line phone systems and online platforms.
• Provide information about hotel services, local attractions, and amenities to enhance guest experiences.
• Address guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure satisfaction.
• Conduct night audits as required, ensuring all financial transactions are accurate and balanced.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area.
• Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to meet guest needs effectively.

Skills

• Strong background in hospitality management or hotel management is preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations.
• Proficiency in phone etiquette and experience with multi-line phone systems.
• Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable for effective communication with diverse guests.
• Previous experience in front desk operations or resort environments is a plus.
• Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally while maintaining a positive attitude.
