Healthcare Staffing Business Development & Contracting Consultant Needed

Maryland-based home health care agency that has recently obtained its Healthcare Staffing Agency License. We are seeking an experienced healthcare staffing consultant to help us successfully launch our staffing division and secure our first staffing contracts.

Our agency is licensed to provide healthcare staffing services and place RNs, LPNs, CNAs, CMTs, PTs, OTs, SLPs, PTAs, and OTAs. We are looking for a consultant who can provide hands-on guidance and a clear roadmap for obtaining contracts and placing staff with healthcare facilities.

Scope of Work:

• Review our current staffing agency setup and readiness

• Identify target markets and contract opportunities

• Assist with vendor enrollment and contract applications

• Guide us through MSP and VMS registration and onboarding

• Recommend staffing platforms and marketplaces

• Develop pricing models, bill rates, and pay rate strategies

• Provide a business development plan for obtaining our first contracts

• Assist with outreach to hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, schools, and government agencies

• Review staffing agreements and contract requirements

• Advise on credentialing, compliance, and onboarding processes

Preferred Experience:

• Healthcare staffing agency ownership, management, or consulting experience

• Experience obtaining contracts with hospitals, nursing homes, school systems, government agencies, or healthcare networks

• Experience with MSPs, VMS platforms, and vendor enrollment

• Knowledge of Maryland healthcare staffing requirements preferred

Goal:

Develop a clear strategy to secure healthcare staffing contracts and begin placing healthcare professionals within the next 90 days.
