Job Overview
We're looking for a hands-on, reliable Maintenance Technician to join our mid-sized hotel in Miami. You'll be fixing real problems, keeping the property running, and helping guests have a clean, comfortable stay.

This is not a management position and not entry-level. We're looking for someone experienced, capable, and self-motivated -- a true go-to person when something needs to be done correctly the first time. This is for someone who wants steady hours and long-term opportunities for growth.

Duties

  • Fixing day-to-day maintenance issues around the hotel.
  • Basic plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, doors, locks, appliances.
  • Light HVAC and A/C troubleshooting (filters, thermostats, basic issues)
  • Preventative maintenance--catching small problems before they become big ones.
  • Working independently and handling work orders professionally.
  • Assist with facilities management tasks including supervising cleaning, landscaping, and general upkeep.

Qualifications

  • Strong general maintenance skills (plumbing, electrical, basic HVAC, carpentry, repairs).
  • Comfortable working independently and managing your own task list.
  • Attention to detail -- you notice things others miss.
  • Reliable, on time, and professional.
  • Can take direction but doesn't need constant supervision.
  • Hospitality or apartment maintenance experience is a plus, but not required.

This Role is a Good Fit If You

  • Like being hands-on and solving problems.
  • Prefer doing the work rather than managing a team.
  • Take pride in a clean, well-maintained property.
  • Want a stable, long-term position.
  • Opportunity for steady work and long-term growth.
  • We value people who hustle, learn fast, and take responsibility.
  • Steady hours and long-term opportunity for someone who proves themselves.
