Duties

• Operate laundry machines and equipment to wash, dry, and fold linens, towels, and guest clothing with precision and care
• Sort laundry items by type, color, and cleaning requirements to ensure optimal results
• Perform dry cleaning processes for delicate or special fabric items following established procedures
• Maintain cleanliness of laundry areas, including sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing workspaces regularly
• Assist with inventory management by monitoring supplies and notifying management when replenishments are needed
• Follow safety protocols and proper handling procedures for chemicals used in cleaning processes
• Support other housekeeping duties as needed to uphold the hotel’s cleanliness standards

Qualifications

• Prior experience in laundry services or hotel housekeeping is highly preferred
• Knowledge of laundry techniques, including washing, drying, folding, and dry cleaning processes
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
• Ability to operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy loads when necessary
• Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and safety procedures
