Lube Technician - Entry Level

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Lube Technician to join our automotive service team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in vehicle maintenance and repair within a shop environment. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn, possess mechanical aptitude, and have a passion for automotive service.

Duties

• Perform routine oil changes and fluid top-offs efficiently and accurately
• Conduct tire rotations, replacements, and alignments as needed
• Assist with vehicle inspections to identify mechanical issues
• Use hand tools and power tools to perform basic repairs and maintenance
• Maintain cleanliness of work area and ensure safety protocols are followed
• Support senior technicians with more complex repairs and diagnostics as skills develop
• Provide excellent customer service by explaining services performed and addressing customer questions
• Keep accurate records of services performed on each vehicle

Requirements

• Mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems and maintenance procedures
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and automotive diagnostics equipment
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely (up to 50 pounds) and work in physically demanding environments
• Basic understanding of automotive service procedures such as oil changes, tire service, alignment, and general maintenance
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is preferred

Job Type: Part-time Pay: $16.90 - $20.00 per hour
