The Marketing and Audience Development Associate will assist leadership staff at Irish Classical Theatre Company in increasing season subscriptions and single ticket sales, developing new social media strategies and creating and implementing ways to engage audiences and the community at-large, in and around the Theatre. In addition to these responsibilities, the Associate will coordinate with staff to track progress related to the stated goals, using and analyzing data from ICTC’s CRM tool, Patron Manager (a product of Salesforce).
Outcomes & Responsibilities:
The role is a planning and execution-focused position supporting three outcomes:
Increase Season Subscriptions and Single Ticket Sales
Execute targeted renewal and acquisition campaigns
Segment and activate past subscribers, lapsed patrons, and single-ticket buyers
Strengthen Digital Engagement
Populate and manage ICTC’s social media channels with consistent, high-quality and engaging content
Support email marketing campaigns aligned with production and event schedules
Enhance Media Presence
Coordinate press outreach, releases, and coverage
Manage relationships with local media outlets and marketing vendors
In conjunction with the aforementioned outcomes, the Associate will also have the following responsibilities:
Manage and Implement subscription and individual show campaigns (email, social, and promotional offers and print campaigns)
Manage and implement content creation calendar across all platforms
Update and maintain ICTC’s website
Draft and distribute press materials; coordinate media outreach, schedule reviewer attendance
Support CRM-based audience segmentation and reporting
Provide regular performance updates (engagement, conversions, sales indicators)
Coordinate Creation of Show Playbills & Program Stuffers
Research, Engage and Manage Marketing Vendor Contracts & Deliverables
Manage Marketing Partnerships & Outreach
Collaborate with the Board of Trustees Marketing and Public Relations Committee
Collaborate with Artistic Director to art direct and implement promotional photo shoots and season artwork
Collaborate with Artistic Director to write website and promotional material copy for all shows and offerings
Required Qualifications
2-5 years of relevant experience in marketing, communications and/or public relation in (preferably in arts/nonprofit environments)
Proven ability to build and maintain professional relationships with external partners or clients
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with confidence in face-to-face networking and outreach
Demonstrated social media fluency, with strong visual and written storytelling ability
Ability to track performance metrics, manage outreach pipelines, and report on results
Strong organizational and time management skills
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspaces, WordPress and design platforms including Canva and Adobe Suite.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
Experience with Salesforce/ PatronManager
Employment Details:
Evening and weekend availability sometimes required.
Some work will occur during ICTC’s typical business hours-10 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday- with the possibility for asynchronous work on some tasks.
$20-22 per hour
This position is in-person in Buffalo, NY, with some remote capabilities.
Preferred Start Date: Early June 2026
