Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our team at our Algonquin location. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about patient care and has an interest in skincare and aesthetics.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with skincare treatments and maintain familiarity with products and services offered
• Provide exceptional patient service both in person and over the phone
• Prepare patients for appointments, including rooming and pre-procedure setup
• Take and accurately record vital signs
• Complete patient intake and maintain accurate medical records
• Perform phlebotomy and blood draws
• Assist providers during treatments and procedures
• Support medical billing and insurance documentation processes
• Ensure exam rooms are clean, stocked, and organized
• Maintain accurate charting and follow all clinic protocols and compliance standards

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a Medical Assistant preferred
• Phlebotomy experience required
• Background or interest in skincare and aesthetics is a plus
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Highly organized with the ability to multitask efficiently
• Professional, positive, and team-oriented attitude
• Experience with EMR systems and medical billing preferred

Schedule

• Monday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Tuesday: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Wednesday: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Thursday: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Friday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Occasional weekends as needed (appointment only)

Pay: $34.85 - $41.96 per hour
