Mobile Phlebotomist/ Service Provider in Blacksburg, VA

Job Title: Mobile Phlebotomist/ Service Provider (Independent Contractor - 1099)

Compensation: $40+ per completed blood draw

Schedule: Flexible hours | Draws available Monday–Saturday between 5:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Job Summary:

We are seeking experienced, professional Mobile Phlebotomists to join our nationwide team. As a 1099 independent contractor, you will have the flexibility to create your own schedule and accept only the draws you are available for—no automatic assignments. You will be responsible for traveling to patient homes, clinics, or partner sites to collect blood specimens and ensure timely, high-quality service.

Responsibilities:

• Perform venipuncture blood draws with precision and care
• Travel to client locations as scheduled
• Ensure proper labeling, handling, and packaging of specimens
• Drop off collected samples at the designated laboratory, FedEx, or UPS location promptly and in accordance with specimen handling requirements
• Maintain accurate documentation and timely updates via our system/app
• Provide excellent customer service and uphold professional standards at all times
• Follow safety and infection control protocols

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year phlebotomy experience performing blood draws
• Valid driver’s license, personal vehicle, and active auto insurance
• Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule
• Must provide own blood draw supplies (tubes, needles, tourniquets, etc.)
• Must wear professional scrubs and closed-toe shoes
• Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills
• Reliable and punctual with a professional demeanor

Contract Type:

• 1099 Independent Contractor
• You will not be considered an employee; you manage your own time and tools
• You are paid no less than $40 per completed draw, with opportunity for more

Job Type: Contract Pay: $40.00 - $40.01 per hour
