Non CDL Box Truck Driver

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to handle various driving tasks, including route driving and heavy lifting.

Duties

• Operate delivery vehicles, including vans and trucks, to transport goods to designated locations.
• Plan and follow efficient routes to ensure timely deliveries.
• Load and unload products using pallet jacks and other equipment as necessary.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation.
• Communicate effectively with warehouse staff, customers, and management regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise.
• Handle heavy lifting and moving of products as required during deliveries.
• Adhere to all safety protocols while driving and handling materials.

Experience

• Previous experience in route driving or as a van driver is preferred.
• Familiarity with commercial driving regulations is a plus.
• Experience in warehouse operations is beneficial.
• Proficiency in operating manual transmission vehicles is advantageous.
• Ability to lift heavy items regularly, demonstrating physical fitness for the role.
• Experience as a courier or in similar driving positions will be considered an asset.
