<p>The Operations & Logistics Specialist is responsible for managing end-to-end logistics operations related to the inbound flow of equipment into the United States, as well as coordinating domestic distribution and, when required, cross-border logistics to other Latin American countries. This role plays a key part in ensuring operational efficiency, cost control, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement across the logistics chain.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Manage and oversee the end-to-end logistics process for equipment arriving into the United States, including international transportation, customs clearance, and final delivery.</li><li>Coordinate domestic logistics and last-mile delivery within the U.S., ensuring timely and cost-effective distribution.</li><li>Support and coordinate international logistics operations to selected Latin American countries, as required by the business.</li><li>Work closely with freight forwarders, customs brokers, warehouses, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.</li><li>Maintain accurate records of logistics and operational costs, including freight, duties, storage, and handling charges.</li><li>Prepare regular cost reports and analysis, providing visibility and insights to management.</li><li>Identify opportunities for continuous improvement, process optimization, and significant cost savings across logistics and operational activities.</li><li>Ensure compliance with U.S. customs regulations, import/export requirements, and trade compliance standards.</li><li>Manage and support operations involving Foreign Trade Zones (FTZs) and bonded facilities within the United States.</li><li>Monitor performance KPIs and proactively address operational risks, delays, or cost deviations.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Required Skills & Experience</strong></p><ul><li>Proven experience in logistics and operations, with a strong focus on inbound logistics to the United States.</li><li>Solid knowledge of U.S. customs processes, import regulations, and trade compliance.</li><li>Experience working with Foreign Trade Zones (FTZs) and/or bonded warehouses in the U.S.</li><li>Strong understanding of cost control, budgeting, and logistics cost reporting.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives and deliver measurable cost savings.</li><li>Experience coordinating logistics across multiple countries, preferably including Latin America.</li><li>Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.</li><li>Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.</li></ul><p></p>
