You will build empowering peer relationships with individuals who are in search of someone who will listen. You will work with and grow a connection with people as someone who has walked a similar path. You will offer hope, as well as recovery and support services, while sharing your lived experience with each person who reaches out to the New Mexico Peer-to-Peer Warmline. Our Peer Support Specialists work closely with one another as the Warmline is a unique, structured environment; taking part in ongoing meetings, training and team building activities. You will also handle confidential information professionally and a continued commitment to your own recovery is essential for this role.
