Duties

• Lead group and individual pickleball lessons tailored to various skill levels, from beginners to advanced players
• Demonstrate proper techniques for serving, volleying, scoring, and game strategy
• Organize friendly matches and tournaments to encourage participation and camaraderie
• Maintain a safe playing environment by enforcing rules and promoting proper sportsmanship
• Provide coaching tips and constructive feedback to help players improve their skills
• Assist with setting up courts, equipment maintenance, and ensuring cleanliness of the playing area
• Engage with participants to foster motivation, enthusiasm, and a love for the sport

Requirements

• Proven experience in sports coaching or teaching physical education, preferably with pickleball or similar racquet sports
• Background in Lifeguard experience or working with children is a plus for managing youth programs
• Strong knowledge of sports such as basketball, cheerleading, climbing, martial arts (Karate, Judo), swimming or gymnastics is beneficial
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and manage diverse groups of students or participants
• Ability to demonstrate behavior management techniques to maintain a positive environment
• Previous experience in health clubs or gyms is advantageous
• Passion for promoting physical activity and fostering an inclusive atmosphere for all skill levels
