This role reports to the Pricing Lead and is critical to helping the team scale as the company grows. The Pricing Analyst owns account-level pricing for new and renewing clients while continuously improving pricing models and processes. Through this work, they play a key role in driving revenue across our book of business. This role is ideal for an analytical individual who is passionate about the healthcare industry and thrives in a fast-growing environment.</p> <p><strong>Where you will work:</strong></p> <p>Garner is headquartered in NYC, but this position is available for individuals who are comfortable with remote work and occasional travel to HQ.</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities will include:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Provide account-specific pricing guidance and quotes for new clients as well as renewals with escalation of complex quotes.</li> <li>Conduct analysis to identify and communicate the financial impact of pricing decisions.</li> <li>Collaborate on improving Garner’s pricing models using projected and actual healthcare costs, including understanding the intersection between Garner’s pricing and the impacts on the financial plan.</li> <li>Assist with building and monitoring mechanisms to understand performance of the book of business and intersection with the financial plan.</li> <li>Assist in building processes and policies to support continually improving financial planning and pricing decisions.</li> <li>Maintain pricing models while continually identifying opportunities for efficiencies. </li> </ul> <p><strong>The ideal candidate has:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree</li> <li>2 years of professional experience in an analytical function</li> <li>Strong quantitative skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy</li> <li>Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities</li> <li>Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment</li> <li>A desire to be a part of a high-performing, mission-driven team that operates with intense urgency, a strong sense of individual accountability, and a commitment to authentic feedback.</li> <li>Advanced proficiency with Excel or Google Sheets </li> </ul> <p><strong>Bonus experience / skillsets:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Experience in health insurance industry</li> </ul> <p>This is a unique opportunity to join a fast-growing company in a transformative role, helping shape the future of healthcare.</p> <p>The hourly rate for this role will be $35-$40/hr. The contract will run through end of October.
