Project Management/Principal Project Management Specialist

This position is seeking a highly motivated, strong communicator to join the Global Supply Chain Program Management (GSCPM) team.
Position Responsibilities
Leading program execution for supplier activities for Modernization efforts that each have profit/loss responsibilities, ensuring milestones are met, and objectives are achieved.
Identifying, assessing, and managing risks and opportunities to mitigate challenges and optimize supplier performance.
Serving as the Control Account Manager (CAM) with full Earned Value Management System (EVMS) responsibilities, ensuring accurate cost, schedule, and performance tracking.
Providing frequent, detailed program status updates to internal teams, ensuring leadership and stakeholders are informed of progress, risks, and solutions.
Managing and overseeing proposal efforts, including supplier coordination and cost analysis to align with program requirements that lead to BOM execution strategies and setting priorities with the Procurement team
Ensures that prior to execution, all elements of the proposed program(s) plans have complete and accurate schedules, budgets, make/buy plans, and procurement and subcontracts strategies
Participates in supplier/subcontractor negotiations in collaboration with the Subcontracts Organization
Briefs the management on the status and issues affecting Program cost and schedule performance and ensures subcontractor performs within the established program cost, schedule and quality requirements
Acts as a focal point for the Program Management Office (PMO) on behalf of supply chain and coordinates cross-functionally to ensure that all supply chain commitments are met, and that appropriate mitigation plans are developed and executed to address any programmatic risks related to suppliers.
Leads supply chain Program execution is accountable for resource planning, material cost, forecasting, schedule performance, risk/opportunity management, supplier performance, and supply chain issue resolution.
Candidate must be an effective communicator and will be expected to build relationships across program functions.
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively verbally and in writing, with all levels of the organization
Basic Qualifications
Level 2:
Must have Bachelor's Degree with 2 years of experience, Masters Degree or in lieu of degree with 6 years of experience.
Experience must be in the following: Supply Chain, Project/Program Management, or Business Management
Experience in Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD government Secret Clearance and Special Program Access within a reasonable amount of time deemed by business needs
Level 3
Must have Bachelor's Degree with 5 years of experience, Masters Degree with 3 years of experience or in lieu of degree with 9 years of experience.
Experience must be in the following: Supply Chain, Project/Program Management, or Business Management
Experience in Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD government Secret Clearance and Special Program Access within a reasonable amount of time deemed by business needs
