The Quality Control

Inspector II independently inspects aerospace hardware and exercises judgment to accept or reject product in accordance with drawings, specifications, and quality standards. Inspectors are authorized to perform inspections only within the inspection environments for which they are certified. This role involves working closely with engineers, production technicians, and operations teams to support multiple programs and value streams.

Avionics: Complex wire harnesses, continuity verification, PCBA inspection per IPC standards Mechanical / Structures: Precision machined components, composite structures, and additive parts Perform in-process and final inspections Initiate and document nonconformances (NCRs) Communicate inspection results to production and quality teams Support first article inspections and process/procedure feasibility studies under guidance Maintain accurate inspection records and traceability Perform visual and basic dimensional inspections on production hardware within assigned qualification areas, including: Avionics: Wire harness assemblies, connectors, routing, labeling, and PCBA visual workmanship. Familiar with WHMA cable inspection, use of electrical and microscope test equipment.

Mechanical / Structures: Machined metallic parts, composite components, and additively manufactured parts. Fulfills inspection plan criteria and assists with QI buyoffs in Working Instructions. Use basic inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, optical aids) Accurately document inspection results and observations Comply with AS9100 and internal quality system requirements 2-4 years aerospace or high-reliability inspection experience Familiarity with IPC workmanship standards (for avionics) and dimensional inspection methods (for mechanical) Comprehensive benefit package options include medical, dental, vision, life, and more. 12 annual company holidays Career Growth: Opportunities for professional development and career advancement.
