Receptionist / Office Assistant Duties and Responsibilities

Job Description

  • Thursday - Monday 8 hour shifts
  • Answer phone and email inquiries, direct calls, address customers concern and provide company/events information
  • Help customers with table reservations (Restaurant and Retail), take payment, keep records of all reservations.
  • Perform clerical duties, maintain files, and organize documents; photocopy-scan all files for the office, email, etc. as needed
  • Ship all orders that come to schneblywinery.com and miamibrewing.com safely and correctly by 4:30pm at the end of each business day for UPS pick to up
  • Assist in planning company events, meetings and/or special projects and marketing materials
  • Managing and completing reservations via TOCK and Woo Commerce.
  • Logging sales reports for all departments
  • Updating voicemail/Phone recordings.
  • Assist with proof reading marketing ads.
  • Assist in the Retail department as needed, includes learning POS system, wine tastings and provide exceptional customer service
  • Assist in opening and closing Retail as needed
  • Assist in taking virtual payments as needed
  • Manage and maintain files, scanning records, and correspondence for meetings
  • Type documents, drafts, and reports
  • Oversee mail deliveries and packages
  • Must obtain “TIPS” certification within 30 days of employment
  • Assist creating flyers or any type of marketing materials
  • Assist the General Manager as needed
Receptionist Uniform:
  • Business casual/work wear casual attire
  • Nametag (Supplied by employer – If lost, employee will incur $10 replacement cost).
  • Closed toe shoes
Reports to:

Office Manager

**Management reserves the right to alter this job description at any given time as needed. Other duties may be assigned as required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
