<p>Description</p><p>CloseKnit is an integrated hybrid primary care organization with clinics across the DMV region, serving commercial and public insurance populations. We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Mental Health Therapists to provide high-quality therapeutic services through a virtual care model. The therapist will support clients in developing coping skills, improving emotional well-being, and achieving personal goals while collaborating with families and interdisciplinary care teams to deliver coordinated, patient-centered care.</p><p>Requirements</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><p><strong>Assessment & Evaluation:</strong></p><ul><li>Conduct comprehensive assessments of behavioral, emotional, and mental health needs.</li><li>Develop individualized treatment plans aligned with client goals.</li></ul><p><strong>Therapeutic Interventions:</strong></p><ul><li>Provide evidence-based individual, family, and group therapy using modalities such as CBT and DBT.</li><li>Deliver care both onsite and virtually in alignment with the hybrid care model.</li></ul><p><strong>Monitoring & Documentation:</strong></p><ul><li>Track client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.</li><li>Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, including progress notes and treatment outcomes.</li></ul><p><strong>Collaboration & Communication:</strong></p><ul><li>Work collaboratively with Primary care physicians, psychiatrists, social workers, case managers, and other healthcare professionals.</li><li>Communicate treatment plans, progress, and recommendations with clients, families, and stakeholders.</li></ul><p><strong>Crisis Intervention:</strong></p><ul><li>Provide crisis intervention and support to clients in acute distress.</li><li>Develop safety plans and strategies to prevent or mitigate crises.</li></ul><p><strong>Education & Support:</strong></p><ul><li>Educate clients and families on mental health conditions, treatment options, and coping strategies.</li></ul><p><strong>Caseload Expectations:</strong></p><ul><li>Maintain a minimum caseload of 25+ clinical sessions per week.</li><li>Full-time 40 hours per week. Flexible scheduling options to include evenings and weekends.</li></ul><p><strong>Required Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Master's degree in social work, Counseling, or related behavioral health field.</li><li>Active licensure (must be able to practice independently) in at least one of the following states: Massachusetts (MA), Washington, DC, Maryland (MD), Virginia (VA).</li><li>3–5 years of clinical experience working with youth, adults, and individuals with behavioral health challenges.</li><li>Experience working with patients throughout the lifespan (ages 7 and above)</li><li>Strong skills in evidence-based therapeutic practices.</li><li>Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational abilities.</li></ul><p><em><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></em><strong>:</strong></p><ul><li>Experience with specific treatment populations or specialties (e.g., trauma, substance use).</li><li>Proficiency with Athena EMR.</li><li>Familiarity with EHR documentation standards.</li></ul><p><strong>Equal Opportunity Statement:</strong></p><p>CloseKnit is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
