Duties
Monitor and patrol designated premises to prevent unauthorized access, theft, vandalism, and other security breaches.
Conduct thorough inspections of visitors, employees, and contractors to verify identities and ensure compliance with security policies.
Operate surveillance equipment such as CCTV cameras to observe activity across the property continuously.
Respond promptly to alarms or incidents by assessing situations accurately and coordinating with law enforcement or emergency responders when necessary.
Enforce loss prevention measures by identifying suspicious behavior and intervening appropriately to mitigate risks.
Maintain detailed records of daily activities, incidents, and security checks through comprehensive reporting.
Assist in emergency situations by providing first aid or CPR if trained, and managing conflict with professionalism and calmness.
Qualifications
Proven experience in security roles, law enforcement, military service or related fields is highly desirable.
Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred; willingness to obtain if not already certified.
Knowledge of surveillance systems such as CCTV and experience with loss prevention strategies.
Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Familiarity with security procedures including access control, CCTV monitoring, and emergency response protocols.
Ability to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods while maintaining alertness throughout shifts.
