<p></p> <p><strong>Job Title:</strong> Senior Backend Developer – Go / Platform</p> <p><strong>Key Skills:</strong> Go (Golang), GCP, Microservices, REST APIs, gRPC, Kubernetes, Docker, Distributed Systems, Kafka, Google Pub/Sub, NoSQL, Relational Databases, GitOps, DevOps</p> <p><strong>Experience:</strong> +7 years of experience.</p> <p><strong>Location:</strong> Costa Rica</p> <p><strong>Mode:</strong> Remote</p> <p>We at Coforge are hiring<strong> Senior Backend Developer – Go / Platform (#19695) </strong>with the following skill set</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Design, build, and deploy high-performance, resilient, and scalable cloud-based systems for a cybersecurity platform.</li> <li>Lead software capabilities from concept to production, ensuring high quality and efficient delivery throughout the SDLC.</li> <li>Utilize Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to build and operate highly available backend systems.</li> <li>Identify and resolve system-level and component-level performance challenges.</li> <li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product, Operations, and Platform Engineering.</li> <li>Integrate monitoring, alerting, and observability solutions to improve reliability, performance, and system availability.</li> <li>Maintain high engineering standards through automated testing, CI/CD workflows, and best SDLC practices.</li> <li>Propose and design technical solutions aligned with product requirements and user stories.</li> <li>Participate in architecture discussions, technical design reviews, and code reviews.</li> <li>Provide technical mentorship and guidance to engineers while promoting engineering excellence and continuous improvement.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Required Skills & Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>7+ years of experience in backend engineering or distributed systems development.</li> <li>4+ years of expert-level hands-on experience with Go (Golang).</li> <li>Strong expertise in microservices architecture, REST API development, and gRPC.</li> <li>Experience building and maintaining scalable cloud-native applications in GCP (preferred).</li> <li>Strong hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized environments.</li> <li>Experience with asynchronous messaging technologies such as Google Pub/Sub or Kafka.</li> <li>Strong knowledge of both relational and NoSQL databases.</li> <li>Experience writing unit tests, integration tests, and BDD-style tests.</li> <li>Strong system design capabilities; familiarity with UML and Domain-Driven Design (DDD) is desirable.</li> <li>Experience with GitOps, DevOps practices, CI/CD automation, and engineering tooling.</li> <li>Strong understanding of modern SDLC practices and experience working in agile teams.</li> <li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</li> <li>Demonstrated experience scaling distributed and microservice-based systems in production.</li> <li>Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple stakeholders and technical teams.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Preferred Skills</strong></p> <ul> <li>Experience with Ruby.</li> <li>Experience building platform-level or mission-critical backend systems.</li> <li>Exposure to cybersecurity environments, cloud-native security, or distributed platform engineering.</li> <li>Strong mentoring skills and experience guiding engineering best practices.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Posted On:</strong> 29-5-2026</p> <p><strong>At Coforge, we hire professionals based solely on their skills and do not discriminate based on age, disability, religion, gender, sexual orientation, socioeconomic status, or nationality.</strong></p>
