Our client is seeking a visionary Senior E-commerce Growth Hacker to drive rapid and sustainable growth for their online business in Portland, Oregon, US . This is a hands-on role focused on identifying, experimenting with, and implementing innovative strategies across the entire customer lifecycle – from acquisition and activation to retention and referral. You will leverage data analytics, creativity, and a deep understanding of user behavior to uncover growth opportunities. Responsibilities include designing and executing A/B tests on website elements, optimizing marketing funnels, exploring new acquisition channels, implementing viral loops, and enhancing customer lifetime value. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a strong analytical skillset, a passion for experimentation, and a proven track record of achieving significant growth metrics in the e-commerce space. You will work closely with marketing, product, and engineering teams to translate hypotheses into actionable growth initiatives. A deep understanding of e-commerce metrics, growth hacking methodologies, and digital marketing tools is essential. This role offers the significant advantage of being fully remote.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute a data-driven growth strategy to accelerate e-commerce expansion. Identify and prioritize growth opportunities through analysis of user behavior, market trends, and competitor activities. Design, implement, and analyze A/B tests and other experiments across marketing channels, website, and product features. Optimize conversion funnels, from initial touchpoint through to purchase and repeat business. Explore and test new user acquisition channels and growth tactics. Develop strategies to improve customer retention, engagement, and lifetime value. Implement viral growth mechanisms and referral programs. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, product, engineering) to execute growth initiatives. Track and report on key growth metrics and the impact of experiments. Stay abreast of the latest growth hacking techniques, tools, and technologies. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in growth hacking, performance marketing, or a related growth-focused role, preferably within e-commerce. Proven track record of driving significant growth metrics (e.g., user acquisition, conversion rates, revenue). Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools. Expertise in A/B testing methodologies and tools. Deep understanding of the e-commerce customer journey and retention strategies. Familiarity with digital marketing channels (SEO, SEM, Social Media, Email). Excellent problem-solving skills and a highly experimental mindset. Strong communication and collaboration abilities. Experience with product analytics tools is a plus.
