This role is responsible for delivering initial, recurrent, and refresher training to station employees, including classroom instruction, on-the-job coaching, and skills verification for ground-handling procedures. The Station Trainer conducts safety, compliance, and customer service training in accordance with Envoy and American Airlines policies, as well as regulatory requirements. Daily responsibilities include scheduling and tracking training, maintaining accurate training records, and preparing training materials and job aids. The Station Trainer partners with station leadership to identify performance gaps, provides feedback and mentoring to team members, and supports audits, inspections, and continuous improvement initiatives related to training and operational standards.</p><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><p> </p><ul><li>Training and facilitation skills, including experience leading classroom sessions, on-the-job instruction, and coaching diverse groups of employees.</li><li>Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to explain procedures clearly, give constructive feedback, and collaborate effectively with station leaders and team members.</li><li>Attention to detail and organizational skills to manage training schedules, maintain accurate records, and ensure adherence to company and regulatory requirements.</li><li>Basic technical proficiency with office productivity tools and learning systems (e.g., MS Office, learning management systems, digital training platforms).</li><li>Knowledge of aviation, airline, or ground-handling operations, with a strong focus on safety, compliance, and customer service standards.</li><li>Ability to work on-site in the Columbus, Ohio Metropolitan Area, including flexibility to support training across varying shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.</li><li>Previous experience in training, lead, or supervisory roles in airline, transportation, hospitality, or related operational environments preferred.</li><li>High school diploma or equivalent required; additional coursework or certification in training, education, aviation, or a related field is a plus.</li></ul>
