Position: Summer Camp Aide Temporary/ Summer (July & August)

Rate: $25-30/hour DOE + mileage reimbursement at federal rate

W2 position requiring a livescan and background check

Hours: Mon-Fri 8am-4pm

Location: 91208 Glendale (La Canada)

Description: We are looking for someone to assist in supporting a 10 year old youth, for July and August. It would be for M-F, approximately 8-4. The support would need to have reliable transportation as they would be driving to and from camps and then staying there with him.

Would love to find someone who:

-is reliable!

-has experiece as a school or camp aide for those with behavioral challenges

-calm and regulated and skills in de-escalating challenging behaviors

-active (walks, bike rides, bonus if they enjoy soccer!)

-can initiate activities to engage with youth (and sibs if around)

-can prepare light snacks (toast, PB&J, frozen burritos) and maybe work with youth to accomplish some of these things

-likes animals (we have cats, a big dog, a lizard and chickens)

-has a background in special need behavioral care, a PLUS if they are already a school/camp aide or have certification in RBT or ABA therapy or similar!

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
