The Manager, Supply Chain Planning & Control is responsible for product inbound and storage management in the warehouse network. Activities include monitoring of inventory levels and accuracy in the facilities; placing purchase orders with manufacturers and coordinating all inbound deliveries to ensure on time delivery and availability in to the warehouse network.

This position is responsible for purchase planning, inventory control, cost control, and materials reporting as required to ensure the uninterrupted flow of materials to meet customer requirements. The scope of responsibility includes managing the day to day replenishment activities from manufacturer purchase order placement to stocking of inventory in warehouses. This position is responsible for ensuring that all required processes and procedures are implemented and followed that ensure the stock levels are available in the right quantities, and the right place, and at the right time.

Annual Hiring Range: $ 70,000 - $ 80,000 Benefits Paid time off 401k, with company match Company sponsored life insurance Medical, dental, vision plans Voluntary short-term/long-term disability insurance Voluntary life, accident, and hospital plans Employee Assistance Program Commuter benefits Employee Discounts Main Duties and Responsibilities: Manages the position Analyst, Supply Chain Planning & Control - establish goals Receives requests manually and electronically for goods and services from departments and ensures proper procurement/sourcing in accordance with federal and state statutes as well as company policies and procedures. Manages the flow of products in specified quality and quantities to meet customer requirements Creates and maintains accurate purchase orders Creates call offs for products, as required, to maintain sufficient network stock levels, through the Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) process Identifies possible stock out situations and suggest action plan to rectify Follows up on inbound deliveries Manages product flow from Purchase Order placement to warehouse booking of stock into available inventory status Manages stock levels in the warehouse to optimize storage and handling cost requirements Maintains positive relationship with suppliers all the time Resolve issues regarding supplier performance, product performance, discrepancies, and damage claims. Reviews and reports key account/key supplier forecasts to suppliers.

Oversees and ensures the accuracy of information is received from forecast, warehousing and physical inventories Manages product requirements of forecasts, correlate forecast requirements and ordering parameters, and distribution constraints Ensures products are purchased in accordance with calculated forecasts Uses customer flight schedules and “Bill of Materials” (BOM) program to determine quantities of all customer-required products Generates purchase orders to ensure product is available through the supply chain to meet consumption requirements Works with internal systems which include Ross, LOGIC, i3PL, ePix & Forecaster Prepares administrative reports as required Collaborates within and across teams to complete projects Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in business or supply chain management Work Experience: 5+ years of material purchasing, forecasting, supply chain management experience preferred Knowledge of supply chain management within the airline industry a plus Technical Skills: (Certification, Licenses and Registration) Advanced capabilities with Microsoft Excel, Word and Access Excellent analytical skills and problem solving skill Knowledge of statistical software a plus Must be detailed oriented and self motivated Must have the ability to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment Language / Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both written & oral Strong interpersonal skills Job Dimensions Geographic Responsibility: USA Type of Employment: full-time Travel %: Up to 10% Exemption Classification: exempt Internal Relationships: employees at all levels of the organization External Relationships: vendors and customers Work Environment / Requirements of the Job: regular office environment Budget / Revenue Responsibility: (Local Currency) Organization Structure Direct Line Manager (Title): Sr Mgr, Service and Delivery Dotted Line Manager (Title, if applicable): n/a Number of Direct Reports: 1 Number of Dotted Line Reports: n/a Estimated Total Size of Team: 3 gategroup Competencies Required to be Successful in the Job: Thinking - Information Search and analysis & problem resolution skills Engaging - Understanding others, Team Leadership and Developing People Inspiring - Influencing and building relationships, Motivating and Inspiring, Communicating effectively Achieving - Delivering business results under pressure, Championing Performance Improvement
