[US HFDN] PT Sorter

Description:

• Assist with receiving freight, breaking down pallets, scanning boxes, and sorting packages by driver route.
• Load vehicles and help direct traffic within the facility.
• Work with a team of associates to safely receive and sort all volume for the shift.
• Ensure incoming volume is directed to the correct destination on time.
• Communicate delays or issues to the Sort Supervisor.
• Attend pre-sort meetings and work toward daily goals and safe operations.
• Contribute to safety, productivity, cost, quality, and on-time delivery results.
• Use internal technology and systems to conduct warehouse operations.
• Assist in other warehouse areas as needed.
• Follow and enforce all safety, GMP, and SQF policies and procedures.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to read and write English, follow verbal instructions, and use simple math.
• Comfortable using computers, scanning devices, and basic computer systems.
• Able to meet productivity targets and maintain good attendance and punctuality.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to regularly lift and move up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding work.
• Able to stand, walk, stoop, reach, crouch, pull, and push for 10 to 12 hours with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Comfortable operating a manual and electric pallet jack; training will be provided.
• Specific vision abilities required include close vision and peripheral vision.

Benefits:
