Duties

• Greet clients warmly, schedule appointments, and manage patient check-ins and check-outs with efficiency and professionalism
• Collect payments and perform accurate medical billing and collections
• Assist veterinarians during examinations and procedures by handling animal restraint, administering treatments, and preparing necessary equipment
• Conduct laboratory tests, process samples, and maintain accurate medical records using veterinary terminology
• Perform animal husbandry tasks such as feeding, grooming, cleaning kennels, and ensuring animal comfort and safety
• Handle animal catheterization, aseptic techniques, and other critical care procedures with precision
• Support pet care activities including dog training, grooming, and general animal handling to promote well-being

Qualifications

• Prior experience in veterinary clinics or animal care facilities is highly preferred; including kennel experience and pet grooming skills
• Knowledge of veterinary terminology, animal anatomy, restraint techniques, and laboratory procedures
• Hands-on experience with medical collection processes and laboratory testing is advantageous
• Familiarity with equine or large animal handling is a plus for clinics with diverse species
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members
• Ability to perform animal catheterization, aseptic techniques, and critical care procedures confidently
• Passion for animal welfare combined with a proactive attitude to learn new skills in veterinary medicine
