Supports the organization’s supply chain strategy. Plans, directs, and monitors all activities in the warehouse.<p><b><u>Essential Functions</u></b></p><ul><li>Responsible for Warehouse Management System (WMS)</li><li>Understands the WMS database structure.</li><li>Performs advanced configuration of the WMS.</li><li>Leads company initiatives to improve WMS functionality.</li><li>Responsible for building and/or maintaining a safe work culture.</li><li>Coordinates technical support for site or network operations and systems.</li><li>Serves as site lead for systems implementations and modifications.</li><li>Oversees activities of warehouse operations including training, shipping, receiving, inventory, and safety.</li><li>Build a positive work environment.</li><li>Manages all aspects of inventory.</li><li>Manage and schedule labor appropriately to meet demands and goals.</li><li>Oversee shipping and receiving discrepancies, RMA’s.</li><li>Training of forklift operators, administer road tests and certification.</li><li>Establish operational procedures for activities such as verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, - handling and disposition of materials, and keeping warehouse inventory current.</li><li>Collaborate with department heads to ensure coordination of warehouse activities with activities of other functions such as production, sales, records control and purchasing.</li><li>Direct salvage of damaged or unused material.</li><li>Manage month end inventory and cycle counts to ensure physical inventories are reconciled timely.</li><li>Ensure maintenance of clean, orderly and safe warehouse.</li><li>Participate in planning personnel safety and plant protection activities.</li><li>Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of the job.</li><li>Please note this job description is not designed to contain a comprehensive list of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
