Warehouse Operations Manager

A prominent logistics and warehousing company is seeking a highly organized and results-oriented Warehouse Operations Manager. This critical role is based in **Raleigh, North Carolina, US**, and requires your on-site presence to oversee all aspects of warehouse operations. You will be responsible for managing inventory, optimizing workflow, ensuring the safety of personnel, and driving efficiency within the facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a proven track record in warehouse management.

Key Responsibilities: Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping. Develop and implement efficient operational procedures and workflows to maximize productivity. Manage inventory levels accurately and conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, company policies, and industry best practices. Lead, train, and motivate a team of warehouse associates to achieve performance goals. Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to track inventory and manage operational data. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement strategies for continuous improvement. Manage facility maintenance, equipment upkeep, and overall warehouse organization. Control operational costs and identify opportunities for cost savings. Liaise with transportation providers and other departments to ensure seamless order fulfillment. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience. 5+ years of experience in warehouse operations management. Proven experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and other relevant software. Strong understanding of inventory control, logistics, and supply chain principles. Excellent leadership, team management, and communication skills. Demonstrated ability to implement process improvements and drive operational efficiency. Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in a warehouse environment. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
