Apply via Dice today!<br><br><strong>Job Title: Workday &UKG integrations Data Engineer <br><br></strong><strong>Location: Houston, TX (Remote) <br><br></strong><strong>Employment type: Contract<br><br></strong><strong>Description:<br><br></strong>Experienced Data Engineer responsible for end-to-end migration from UKG Pro/Kronos to Workday, including extraction, transformation, loading, and downstream integrations, working closely with business stakeholders and Workday SMEs.<br><br><strong>Key Responsibilities<br><br></strong><ul><li>Design API-based integrations (REST/SOAP) between UKG and Workday (preferred over DB migration).</li><li>Handle API authentication (OAuth2, token-based) and implement secure access.</li><li>Manage secrets using Azure Key Vault + Databricks Secret Scopes (dbutils).</li><li>Implement token refresh and retry mechanisms for API reliability.</li><li>Process JSON data and handle schema evolution in Databricks.</li><li>Build scalable, secure, and fault-tolerant data pipelines.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Required Qualifications<br><br></strong><ul><li>Workday & UKG integrations</li><li>REST/SOAP APIs</li><li>Python / PySpark / Databricks</li><li>Azure Key Vault & secret management</li><li>JSON handling & schema evolution</li></ul>
