$19.00 an hour - Flex Security Officer - Michiana Per Mar Security Services is seeking Entry Level and Experienced Security Officers to join our expanding team! Are you looking to change careers? We are interested in you! $19.00 per hour to start, with quarterly increases over the first year up to $20.00 with good performance.Full-Time:MUST be flexible to work any shift/days.MUST have a valid driver's license and good driving history.Security Flex Officer - Key Responsibilities Provide security coverage at multiple client sites as needed Monitor premises and patrol assigned areas (foot & vehicle) Enforce access control and verify identification Respond to alarms, incidents, and emergencies Write clear and accurate daily activity and incident reports Utilize technology where needed, such as smartphone apps, tablets, computers, alarm equipment, and radios/PTT phones Follow all site-specific policies and post orders Assist employees, visitors, and clients professionally Adapt quickly to different environments and shift schedules Qualifications Flexible availability for various shifts and locations Strong communication and customer-service skills Ability to remain calm under pressure Reliable, professional, and detail-oriented Why Work For Us? Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules.Thoroughly examine doors, windows, and gates to ensure proper function and security.Warn violators of premise rules and regulations.Address persons engaging in suspicious or criminal acts.Report any facility issues.Request emergency personnel for high-risk situations.Qualifications:18 years of age or older Familiarity with security equipment Ability to handle physical workload Strong attention to detail Must possess the values important to Per Mar Security - Integrity, Communication, Excellent Service, and Accountability.Must be willing to participate in the Company's pre-employment screening process, including drug screening and background investigation.Per Mar is an Equal Opportunity Employer/Women/Minorities/Veterans/Disabilities #STBD.
