Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a 1st and 2nd Shift Pool Security Officer, where your vigilance and proactive approach will ensure a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for all pool visitors and staff. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for maintaining safety protocols, monitoring surveillance systems, and managing access points to prevent loss and ensure compliance with safety standards. Your dedication will help create an enjoyable experience for everyone while safeguarding our facilities around the clock. Duties Control access to the pool facility by verifying identification and authorizations for guests, staff, and contractors. Conduct regular patrols of the pool deck, locker rooms, and perimeter to ensure safety protocols are followed and to identify potential security issues. Respond promptly to emergencies, including medical incidents or safety concerns, utilizing first aid skills and CPR when necessary. Manage conflict situations with professionalism and tact, de-escalating disputes or disturbances efficiently. Maintain detailed incident reports, shift logs, and surveillance records accurately for review and compliance purposes. Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency responders during incidents requiring external assistance. Qualifications Prior experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable. Strong observational skills with the ability to remain alert during long shifts. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with team members and patrons. Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally while maintaining a positive attitude.
