Job Title:Wood Mold Machine Operator Location:Wilkesboro, NC Pay:$23-$25 Hours:6am-2:30 Industry:Woodshop/Mill MFG Applicants must have prior experience as a Mold Operator within the wood industry.This is a mandatory requirement for consideration.Job Summary:The Wood Mold Machine Operator is responsible for the setup, operation, and maintenance of a multi-head molding machine used in the production of wood components.This role ensures the efficient and accurate processing of wood materials into desired shapes and profiles, adhering to company quality standards and safety protocols.Key Responsibilities:1.Machine Setup and Operation:Set up the 6 head molding machine according to production specifications.Operate the machine to mold wood products as per design requirements.Monitor the machine during operation to ensure smooth functioning and quality output.2.Quality Control:Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet quality standards.Make necessary adjustments to machine settings to maintain product quality.Document and report any quality issues to the supervisor.3.Maintenance:Perform routine maintenance on the molding machine, including cleaning and lubricating parts.Identify and troubleshoot machine malfunctions and perform minor repairs.Coordinate with the maintenance team for major repairs and overhauls.4.Safety and Compliance:Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.Comply with company policies, procedures, and regulations.Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent.Minimum of 5 years' experience operating multi-head molding machines or similar woodworking machinery.Knowledge of woodworking techniques and materials.Basic mechanical skills and ability to perform machine maintenance.Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.Working Conditions:Work is performed in a wood mill manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery noise, dust, and varying temperatures.#PSDH.
