Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and energetic 2 Year Old Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will create a nurturing, engaging, and educational environment tailored specifically for toddlers. You will be responsible for designing age-appropriate activities, fostering social-emotional growth, and ensuring a safe and stimulating classroom experience. Responsibilities Develop and implement engaging curriculum plans that promote literacy education, math skills, physical activity, and social-emotional learning tailored for 2-year-olds Create a safe, welcoming classroom environment that supports toddler care and encourages curiosity and independence Manage daily classroom routines including diapering, feeding, nap times, and transition activities with patience and professionalism Utilize behavior management techniques to guide positive behavior and address challenges effectively Collaborate with families to communicate children’s progress, developmental milestones, and any concerns related to childhood development or special education needs Incorporate Montessori methods or other educational philosophies to enhance learning experiences when appropriate Maintain detailed records of lesson plans, assessments, and child welfare documentation in compliance with licensing standards Skills Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles, including toddler care and classroom management Experience in curriculum development with an emphasis on literacy education, math, physical education, and early intervention strategies Ability to work effectively with children, demonstrating patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for teaching young learners Familiarity with special education practices and behavior management techniques for diverse learning needs Excellent communication skills to foster positive relationships with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners Classroom experience in daycare or preschool settings; private school experience is a plus Knowledge of standardized testing procedures relevant to early childhood assessment when applicable Ability to plan lessons that incorporate Montessori methods or other innovative teaching approaches Commitment to child welfare and safety standards; understanding of childhood development milestones Join us in shaping the future by providing high-quality care and education for our youngest learners.
