Job Description
Instructional Assistant - Hanscom K-4 Start date: August 28, 2026 (1 day before students) This ESP (Educational Support Personnel) position supports grades K-4, including literacy support. Responsibilities include supporting the instructional process in the classrooms and supervising students throughout the day. K-4 Instructional Assistants work 32 hours/week, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday from 7:45 a.m. -3:00 p.m., with a 30-minute unpaid break; Wednesday 7:45 a.m. - 12:45 p.m. This position is 181 days - one day before students return and 180 student days. Pay rate for 2026-2027 is $23.36 per hour. This is a full-time, benefits and Middlesex County Retirement System eligible position. It is a recognized position in the Education Support Professional (ESP) unit.
